KalimNews, Kalimpong, 19 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

15 Death:

Death of 4 in Darjeeling, 5 in Jalpaiguri, 4 in Uttar Dinajpur, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 1 in Malda district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

1 in Coochbehar and 7 in Alipurduar, 1 in Kalimpong,

676 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 676 new cases, 632 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 676 new cases, 34348 confirmed cases of which 30646 have recovered and 320 died while 4382 are active cases.

94 in Kalimpong:

94 new cases, 63 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 94 new cases, 3783 confirmed cases of which 3277 have recovered, 32 died and 474 are active cases.

166 in Alipurduar:

166 new cases, 113 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 166 new cases, 10109 confirmed cases of which 9182 have recovered and 91 died while 836 are active cases.

236 in Coochbehar: 

236 new cases, 248 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 236 new cases, 18176 confirmed cases of which 16398 have recovered, 75 died and 1703 are active cases.

440 in Jalpaiguri: 

440 new cases, 372 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 440 new cases, 24337 confirmed cases of which 287 died while 21381 have recovered and 2669 are active cases.

257 in Uttar Dinajpur:

257 new cases, 259 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 257 new cases, 15034 confirmed cases of which 157 died while 13121 have recovered and 1756 are active cases.

150 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

150 new cases, 172 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 150 new cases, 13388 confirmed cases of which 115 died while 12107 have recovered and 1166 are active cases.

240 in Malda:  

240 new cases, 303 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 179 new cases, 29118 confirmed cases of which 26858 have recovered and 175 died and 2085 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 94 new cases, 3783 confirmed cases of which 3277 have recovered, 32 died and 474 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 236 new cases, 18176 confirmed cases of which 16398 have recovered, 75 died and 1703 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 440 new cases, 24337 confirmed cases of which 287 died while 21381 have recovered and 2669 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 257 new cases, 15034 confirmed cases of which 157 died while 13121 have recovered and 1756 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 150 new cases, 13388 confirmed cases of which 115 died while 12107 have recovered and 1166 are active cases.

Malda records 240 new cases, 29358 confirmed cases of which 27161 have recovered and 176 died and 2021 are active cases.
