KalimNews, Kalimpong, 25 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

26 Death:

Death of 6 in Darjeeling, 1 in Kalimpong, 1 in Alipurduar, 1 in Coochbehar, 14 in Jalpaiguri, 2 in Uttar Dinajpur, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

and 1 in Malda, 

689 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 689 new cases, 631 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 689 new cases, 39339 confirmed cases of which 34534 have recovered and 345 died while 4460 are active cases.

84 in Kalimpong:

84 new cases, 72 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 84 new cases, 4223 confirmed cases of which 3688 have recovered, 33 died and 502 are active cases.

164 in Alipurduar:

164 new cases, 148 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 164 new cases, 10967 confirmed cases of which 9963 have recovered and 94 died while 910 are active cases.

281 in Coochbehar: 

281 new cases, 242 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 281 new cases, 19791 confirmed cases of which 17912 have recovered, 79 died and 1800 are active cases.

775 in Jalpaiguri: 

775 new cases, 437 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 775 new cases, 27801 confirmed cases of which 332 died while 23884 have recovered and 3585 are active cases.

181 in Uttar Dinajpur:

181 new cases, 226 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 181 new cases, 16446 confirmed cases of which 174 died while 14632 have recovered and 1640 are active cases.

148 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

148 new cases, 167 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 148 new cases, 14293 confirmed cases of which 127 died while 13106 have recovered and 1060 are active cases.

172 in Malda:  

172 new cases, 231 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 172 new cases, 30531 confirmed cases of which 28741 have recovered and 177 died and 1613 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 775 new cases, 27801 confirmed cases of which 332 died while 23884 have recovered and 3585 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 181 new cases, 16446 confirmed cases of which 174 died while 14632 have recovered and 1640 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 148 new cases, 14293 confirmed cases of which 127 died while 13106 have recovered and 1060 are active cases.

Malda records 172 new cases, 30531 confirmed cases of which 28741 have recovered and 177 died and 1613 are active cases.
