KalimNews, Kalimpong, 31 May 2021: Report received from the State Department of the Health and Family Welfare regarding infection of Covid-19 in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including all five districts of north Bengal including Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours is as follows:

16 Death:

Death of 4 in Darjeeling, 1 in Kalimpong, 9 in Jalpaiguri, 2 in Uttar Dinajpur district is recorded during the last 24 hours.

303 in Darjeeling:

During the last 48 hours 303 new cases, 788 release is reported from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 303 new cases, 42751 confirmed cases of which 38670 have recovered and 368 died while 3713 are active cases.

16 in Kalimpong:

16 new cases, 119 release reported from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 16 new cases, 4672 confirmed cases of which 4117 have recovered, 35 died and 520 are active cases.

158 in Alipurduar:

158 new cases, 188 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Alipurduar records 158 new cases, 11984 confirmed cases of which 10919 have recovered and 94 died while 971 are active cases.

270 in Coochbehar: 

270 new cases, 363 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Coochbehar records 270 new cases, 21391 confirmed cases of which 19469 have recovered, 84 died and 1838 are active cases.

247 in Jalpaiguri: 

247 new cases, 733 release reported from Jalpaiguri. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Jalpaiguri records 247 new cases, 30684 confirmed cases of which 374 died while 26925 have recovered and 3385 are active cases.

212 in Uttar Dinajpur:

212 new cases, 249 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Uttar Dinajpur records 212 new cases, 17401 confirmed cases of which 191 died while 15952 have recovered and 1258 are active cases.

131 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

131 new cases, 195 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 131 new cases, 15189 confirmed cases of which 143 died while 14066 have recovered and 980 are active cases.

138 in Malda:  

138 new cases, 219 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Malda records 138 new cases, 31256 confirmed cases of which 29989 have recovered and 179 died and 1088 are active cases.

COVID PATIENTS IN THE 8 DISTRICTS OF NORTH BENGAL

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 303 new cases, 42751 confirmed cases of which 38670 have recovered and 368 died while 3713 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 16 new cases, 4672 confirmed cases of which 4117 have recovered, 35 died and 520 are active cases.

Alipurduar records 158 new cases, 11984 confirmed cases of which 10919 have recovered and 94 died while 971 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 270 new cases, 21391 confirmed cases of which 19469 have recovered, 84 died and 1838 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 247 new cases, 30684 confirmed cases of which 374 died while 26925 have recovered and 3385 are active cases.

Uttar Dinajpur records 212 new cases, 17401 confirmed cases of which 191 died while 15952 have recovered and 1258 are active cases.

Dakshin Dinajpur records 131 new cases, 15189 confirmed cases of which 143 died while 14066 have recovered and 980 are active cases.

Malda records 138 new cases, 31256 confirmed cases of which 29989 have recovered and 179 died and 1088 are active cases.
