In the Covid block there are 117 patients of which 49 are admitted in the CCU unit of the Covid Block I and 29 in Covid Block II (Chest & Cardiac Unit) of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH), 23 in Covid Block III (Female Medicine II) and 6 in HDU (Trauma care centre) and 10 in surgical isolation ward. In addition to this during the last 24 hours, 9 serious patients are being treated in the four Isolation wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 2 patients in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, 7 in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward (ID III) and no patient in Isolation ward -1. New Pediatric Covid Block is opened in NBMCH with 14 beds for children. 401 Discharged: 401 patients have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments.
