17 in Alipurduar, 18 in Coochbehar, 45 in Jalpaiguri, 24 in Uttar Dinajpur, 39 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 97 in Malda district tested positive.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 9 April 2021: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:

0 Death:

Test report in the 4 districts as received from VRD Laboratory at NBMCH

Tests done in the districts of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, of these 110 tested positive (5 tested positive in repeat test).

38 in SMC

38 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (28 in Darjeeling and 10 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

52 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 52 positive cases of the district, 28 are from the area of Darjeeling district of the SMC. 

6 case reported from the Darjeeling Hills (3 in Kurseong Municipality, 3 in Sukhiapokhari) 

18 of the plains (11 in Matigara,1 in Phansidewa, 1 in Naxalbari and 5 in Sukuna) tested positive.

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour district records 74 new cases,18944 confirmed cases of which 18471 have recovered and 204 died while 269 are active cases.

9 in Kalimpong:

9 new cases, 1 release reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 9 new cases, 2266 confirmed cases of which 2218 have recovered, 27 died and 21 are active cases.

17 in Alipurduar:

17 new cases, 2 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 17 new cases, 7772 confirmed cases of which 7652 have recovered and 86 died while 34 are active cases.

18 in Coochbehar: 

18 new cases, 4 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 18 new cases, 11948 confirmed cases of which 11819 have recovered, 72 died and 57 are active cases.

45 in Jalpaiguri: 

45 new cases, 11 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 45 new cases, 14970 confirmed cases of which 164 died while 14660 have recovered and 146 are active cases.

24 in Uttar Dinajpur:

24 new cases, 11 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Uttar Dinajpur records 24 new cases, 7038 confirmed cases of which 78 died while 6755 have recovered and 205 are active cases.

39 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

39 new cases, 5 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 39 new cases, 8301 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8135 have recovered and 92 are active cases.

97 in Malda:  

97 new cases, 20 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 97 new cases, 13351 confirmed cases of which 12763 have recovered and 116 died and 472 are active cases.

4 Discharged:

4 patients have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments. 

NBMCH

4 admitted in the CCU unit of the newly opened Covid Block of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).

During the last 24 hours 9 patients are admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 5 patients in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, 1 patient in Surgical isolation ward and 1 patient in Isolation ward -1 and no patients in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 74 new cases,18944 confirmed cases of which 18471 have recovered and 204 died while 269 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 9 new cases, 2266 confirmed cases of which 2218 have recovered, 27 died and 21 are active cases.

Alipurduar records 17 new cases, 7772 confirmed cases of which 7652 have recovered and 86 died while 34 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 18 new cases, 11948 confirmed cases of which 11819 have recovered, 72 died and 57 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 45 new cases, 14970 confirmed cases of which 164 died while 14660 have recovered and 146 are active cases.
