Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs 
11 in Alipurduar, 14 in Coochbehar, 38 in Jalpaiguri, 50 in Uttar Dinajpur, 14 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 153 in Malda district tested positive.
KalimNews, Kalimpong, 10 April 2021: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:

0 Death:
Johar Prasad, 76 yr old patient of Ghosepara died in a nursing home at Sevoke Road.

Test report in the 4 districts as received from VRD Laboratory at NBMCH
Tests done in the districts of Darjeeling- 1183, Kalimpong- 85, Jalpaiguri – 691, Alipurduar-292 TOTAL= 1467
Of these 114 tested positive.

40 in SMC
40 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (26 in Darjeeling and 14 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

48 in Darjeeling district:
Of the 48 positive cases of the district, 26 are from the area of Darjeeling district of the SMC. 
4 cases reported from the Darjeeling Hills (3 in Darjeeling Municipality, 1 in Bijanbari) 
18 of the plains (7 in Matigara, 6 in Phansidewa, 4 in Naxalbari and 1 in Sukuna) tested positive.

50 new cases, 28 release reported today from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 50 new cases,18994 confirmed cases of which 18499 have recovered and 204 died while 291 are active cases.
Similarly 

5 in Kalimpong:
5 new cases, 1 release reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 5 new cases, 2271 confirmed cases of which 2219 have recovered, 27 died and 25 are active cases.

11 in Alipurduar:
11 new cases, 3 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 11 new cases, 7783 confirmed cases of which 7655 have recovered and 86 died while 42 are active cases.

14 in Coochbehar: 
14 new cases, 6 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 14 new cases, 11962 confirmed cases of which 11825 have recovered, 72 died and 65 are active cases.

38 in Jalpaiguri: 
38 new cases, 14 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 38 new cases, 15008 confirmed cases of which 164 died while 14674 have recovered and 170 are active cases.

50 in Uttar Dinajpur:
50 new cases, 9 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Uttar Dinajpur records 50 new cases, 7088 confirmed cases of which 78 died while 6764 have recovered and 246 are active cases.

14 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
14 new cases, 7 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 14 new cases, 8315 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8142 have recovered and 99 are active cases.

153 in Malda:  
153 new cases, 29 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 153 new cases, 13504 confirmed cases of which 12792 have recovered and 116 died and 596 are active cases.

7 Discharged:
7 patients have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments. 

11 in NBMCH
11 patients are admitted in the CCU unit of the newly opened Covid Block of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).
During the last 24 hours 12 patients are admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There is 1 patient in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, no patients in Surgical isolation ward and in Isolation ward -1 and in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward. 

COVID PATIENTS IN THE 8 DISTRICTS OF NORTH BENGAL
Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 50 new cases,18994 confirmed cases of which 18499 have recovered and 204 died while 291 are active cases.
Similarly Kalimpong district records 5 new cases, 2271 confirmed cases of which 2219 have recovered, 27 died and 25 are active cases.
Alipurduar records 11 new cases, 7783 confirmed cases of which 7655 have recovered and 86 died while 42 are active cases.
Coochbehar records 14 new cases, 11962 confirmed cases of which 11825 have recovered, 72 died and 65 are active cases.
Jalpaiguri records 38 new cases, 15008 confirmed cases of which 164 died while 14674 have recovered and 170 are active cases.
Uttar Dinajpur records 50 new cases, 7088 confirmed cases of which 78 died while 6764 have recovered and 246 are active cases.
Dakshin Dinajpur records 14 new cases, 8315 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8142 have recovered and 99 are active cases.
Malda records 153 new cases, 13504 confirmed cases of which 12792 have recovered and 116 died and 596 are active cases.
