0 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs- 
2 in Alipurduar, 42 in Coochbehar, 92 in Jalpaiguri, 92 in Uttar Dinajpur, 59 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 435 in Malda district tested positive.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 19 April 2021: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:

3 Death:
Abhuj Kanti Bhaduri, 79 yr old patient of Mohoripara Jalpaiguri died today in CCU (Covid ward) of NBMCH. He was admitted on 16th April.
Amar Kumar Nandi, 65 yr old patient of 17 No ward Siliguri died today in a Nursing Home. 
Muhammad Iqbal, 65 yr old patient of Dangi para Siliguri died today in CCU (Covid ward) of NBMCH. He was admitted on 18th April.

Test report in the 4 districts as received from VRD Laboratory at NBMCH
Tests done in the districts of Darjeeling- 83 , Kalimpong- 55 , Jalpaiguri –174  , Alipurduar-469 TOTAL= 781
Of these 83 tested positive.

80 in SMC
80 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (55 in Darjeeling and 25 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

145 in Darjeeling district:
Of the 145 positive cases of the district, 55 are from the area of Darjeeling district of the SMC. 
21 cases reported from the Darjeeling Hills (6 in Darjeeling Municipality, 5 in Bijanbari, 6 in Mirik,  4 in Takdah),
71 of the plains (42 in Matigara, 4 in Phansidewa, 1 in Khoribari, 19 in Naxalbari, 5 in Sukuna) also tested positive.)
71 new cases, 88 release reported during the last 24 hours from Darjeeling. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 71 new cases,19987 confirmed cases of which 18983 have recovered and 206 died while 798 are active cases.

4 in Kalimpong:
4 new cases, 8 release reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 4 new cases, 2344 confirmed cases of which 2253 have recovered, 27 died and 64 are active cases.

2 in Alipurduar:
2 new case, 8 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 2 new cases, 7872 confirmed cases of which 7707 have recovered and 86 died while 79 are active cases.

42 in Coochbehar: 
42 new cases, 22 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 42 new cases, 12235 confirmed cases of which 11924 have recovered, 72 died and 239 are active cases.

92 in Jalpaiguri: 
92new cases, 49 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 92 new cases, 15667 confirmed cases of which 167 died while 14974 have recovered and 526 are active cases.

92 in Uttar Dinajpur:
92 new cases, 47 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Uttar Dinajpur records 92 new cases, 7734 confirmed cases of which 79 died while 7032 have recovered and 623 are active cases.

59 in Dakshin Dinajpur:
59 new cases, 24 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 59 new cases, 8624 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8283 have recovered and 267 are active cases.

435 in Malda:  
435 new cases, 153 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 435 new cases, 15944 confirmed cases of which 13580 have recovered and 121 died and 2243 are active cases.

0 Discharged:
0 patients have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments. 

50 patients in NBMCH
Out of total 50 patients 46 are admitted in the CCU unit of the newly opened Covid Block of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).
During the last 24 hours 9 patients are admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 2 patients in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, 5 in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward and 2 in Isolation ward -1. but no patients in Surgical isolation ward 

COVID PATIENTS IN THE 8 DISTRICTS OF NORTH BENGAL
Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 71 new cases,19987 confirmed cases of which 18983 have recovered and 206 died while 798 are active cases.
Similarly Kalimpong district records 4 new cases, 2344 confirmed cases of which 2253 have recovered, 27 died and 64 are active cases.
Alipurduar records 2 new cases, 7872 confirmed cases of which 7707 have recovered and 86 died while 79 are active cases.
Coochbehar records 42 new cases, 12235 confirmed cases of which 11924 have recovered, 72 died and 239 are active cases.
Jalpaiguri records 92 new cases, 15667 confirmed cases of which 167 died while 14974 have recovered and 526 are active cases.
Uttar Dinajpur records 92 new cases, 7734 confirmed cases of which 79 died while 7032 have recovered and 623 are active cases.
Dakshin Dinajpur records 59 new cases, 8624 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8283 have recovered and 267 are active cases.
Malda records 435 new cases, 15944 confirmed cases of which 13580 have recovered and 121 died and 2243 are active cases.
