21 in Alipurduar, 15 in Coochbehar, 66 in Jalpaiguri, 78 in Uttar Dinajpur, 3 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 149 in Malda district tested positive.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 13 April 2021: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:

Test report in the 4 districts as received from VRD Laboratory at NBMCH

Tests done in the districts of Darjeeling- 364, Kalimpong- 122, Jalpaiguri – 133, Alipurduar-173 TOTAL= 792 

Of these 96 tested positive.

85 in SMC

85 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (59 in Darjeeling and 26 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

90 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 90 positive cases of the district, 59 are from the area of Darjeeling district of the SMC. 

5 cases reported from the Darjeeling Hills (2 in Darjeeling Municipality, 2 in Kurseong Municipality, 1 in Mirik) 

26 of the plains (11 in Matigara, 11 in Naxalbari and 4 in Phansidewa) also tested positive.

113 new cases, 38 release reported today from Darjeeling.State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Darjeeling district records 113 new cases,19255 confirmed cases of which 18590 have recovered and 204 died while 461 are active cases.

11 in Kalimpong:

11 new cases, 1 release reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 11 new cases, 2284 confirmed cases of which 2223 have recovered, 27 died and 34 are active cases.

21 in Alipurduar:

21 new case, 5 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 21 new case, 7807 confirmed cases of which 7668 have recovered and 86 died while 53 are active cases.

15 in Coochbehar: 

15 new cases, 11 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 15 new cases, 11999 confirmed cases of which 11848 have recovered, 72 died and 79 are active cases.

66 in Jalpaiguri: 

66 new cases, 21 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 66 new cases, 15151 confirmed cases of which 164 died while 14729 have recovered and 258 are active cases.

78 in Uttar Dinajpur:

78 new cases, 13 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Uttar Dinajpur records 78 new cases, 7265 confirmed cases of which 78 died while 6840 have recovered and 347 are active cases.

3 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

3 new cases, 13 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Dakshin Dinajpur records 3 new cases, 8357 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8176 have recovered and 107 are active cases.

149 in Malda:  

149 new cases, 62 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 149 new cases, 13954 confirmed cases of which 12943 have recovered and 116 died and 895 are active cases.

4 Discharged:

4 patients have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments. 

27 patients in NBMCH

Out of 27 patients 21 are admitted in the CCU unit of the newly opened Covid Block of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).

During the last 24 hours 6 patients are admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 4 patients in the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, 2 in Isolation ward -1 but no patients in Surgical isolation ward and in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward. 

COVID PATIENTS IN THE 8 DISTRICTS OF NORTH BENGAL

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 113 new cases,19255 confirmed cases of which 18590 have recovered and 204 died while 461 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 11 new cases, 2284 confirmed cases of which 2223 have recovered, 27 died and 34 are active cases.

Alipurduar records 21 new case, 7807 confirmed cases of which 7668 have recovered and 86 died while 53 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 15 new cases, 11999 confirmed cases of which 11848 have recovered, 72 died and 79 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 66 new cases, 15151 confirmed cases of which 164 died while 14729 have recovered and 258 are active cases.
