KalimNews, Kalimpong, 3 March 2021: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:

1 Death:

Sudeb Saha, 64 yr old of Hakimpara died in NBMCH.

Test report in the 4 districts as received from VRD Laboratory at NBMCH

Tests done in the districts of Darjeeling- 287, Kalimpong- 38, Jalpaiguri - 269, Alipurduar-356; TOTAL= 950. 3 tested positive.

2 in SMC:

2 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (2 in Darjeeling and 0 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

5 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 5 positive cases of the district, 2 are from the area of Darjeeling district of the SMC.

0 case is reported from the Darjeeling Hills and 3 cases from the plains (1 of Matigara and 2 of Naxalbari) tested positive..

, and 1 case is reported from Darjeeling Hills and 1 in the plains.

 – 1 in Darjeeling Municipalty tested positive.

Of the plains they are- 1 in Matigara.

There is 1 patient in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, no patient in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward and 0 in Surgical isolation ward and Isolation ward -1.
