KalimNews, Kalimpong, 24 March 2021: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:

Test report in the 4 districts as received from VRD Laboratory at NBMCH

Tests done in the districts of Darjeeling- 414, Kalimpong- 88, Jalpaiguri - 393, Alipurduar-339; TOTAL= 1234. 4 tested positive.

3 in SMC:

3 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (2 in Darjeeling and 1 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

5 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 5 positive cases of the district, 2 are from the area of Darjeeling district of the SMC.

0 case is reported from the Darjeeling Hills and 3 cases from the plains (2 in Matigara, and 1 in Phansidewa).

0 admitted in the CCU unit of the newly opened Covid Block of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). .

During the last 24 hours 3 suspected Covid patients are admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 3 patients (of Darjeeling and, Alipurduar) in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, no patients in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward and in Surgical isolation ward and Isolation ward -1.
