Of the plains they are- 2 in Matigara and 1 in Khoribari.

1 in Alipurduar, 1 in Coochbehar, 5 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Uttar Dinajpur, 1 in Dakshin Dinajpur, 2 in Malda districts tested positive.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 3 February 2021: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals in the 5 of the 7 districts of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:

Nil Death:

4 in SMC:

4 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (2 in Darjeeling and 2 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

6 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 6 positive cases of Darjeeling district, 2 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC, and 1 is from Darjeeling Hills – 1 in Pulbazar tested positive.

Of the plains they are- 2 in Matigara and 1 in Khoribari.

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 5 new cases,18325 confirmed cases of which 17961 have recovered and 203 died while 161 are active cases.

1 in Kalimpong:

1 new case, 1 release reported today from Kalimpong. 39 are active cases.

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 1 new case, 2226 confirmed cases of which 2165 have recovered, 26 died and 35 are active cases.

1 in Alipurduar:

1 new case, 2 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 1 new case, 7699 confirmed cases of which 7580 have recovered and 86 died while 33 are active cases..

1 in Coochbehar: 

1 new case, 5 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 3 new cases, 11817 confirmed cases of which 11683 have recovered, 72 died and 62 are active cases.

5 in Jalpaiguri: 

1 death, 5 new cases, 5 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 2 new case, 14637 confirmed cases of which 161 died while 14363 have recovered and 113 are active cases.

1 in Uttar Dinajpur:

1 new case, 4 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Uttar Dinajpur records 1 new case, 6622 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 6453 have recovered and 95 are active cases.

1 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

1 new case, 2 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 2 new case, 8159 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8042 have recovered and 43 are active cases.

2 in Malda:  

2 new cases, 3 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 2 new case, 12653 confirmed cases of which 12450 have recovered and 114 died and 89 are active cases.

4 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 4 cases have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments.

During the last 24 hours no suspected Covid patients are admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are no patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, Surgical isolation ward and Isolation ward -1.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

In Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 12 Covid-19 patients (5 are in ICU) are admitted, during the last 24 hours 1 patient is newly admitted while none are released.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 5 new cases,18325 confirmed cases of which 17961 have recovered and 203 died while 161 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 1 new case, 2226 confirmed cases of which 2165 have recovered, 26 died and 35 are active cases.

Alipurduar records 1 new case, 7699 confirmed cases of which 7580 have recovered and 86 died while 33 are active cases.
