2 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 2 positive cases of Darjeeling district, 0 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC, and 1 is from Darjeeling Hills – 1 in Sukhiapokhari tested positive.

Of the plains they are- 1 in Matigara.

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 11 new cases,18343 confirmed cases of which 17980 have recovered and 203 died while 160 are active cases.

1 new case, 2 release reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Kalimpong district records 1 new case, 2227 confirmed cases of which 2168 have recovered, 26 died and 33 are active cases.

5 in Uttar Dinajpur:

5 new cases, 4 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Uttar Dinajpur records 5 new cases, 6631 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 6461 have recovered and 96 are active cases.

3 in Malda:  

3 new cases, 3 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 3 new cases, 12660 confirmed cases of which 12458 have recovered and 114 died and 88 are active cases.

11 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 11 cases have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments.

During the last 24 hours no suspected Covid patients are admitted in the Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are no patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, Surgical isolation ward and Isolation ward -1.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

In Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 10 Covid-19 patients (5 are in ICU) are admitted, during the last 24 hours no patient is newly admitted while 1 is released.
