No death; 3 of Hills (3 of Kalimpong), 6 of SMC are infected

17 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 3 in Kalimpong,  1 in Naxalbari and 1 in Matigara.

1 in Alipurduar, 6 in Coochbehar, 12 in Jalpaiguri, 1 in Malda districts tested positive.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 12 January 2021 : Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals in the 5 of the 7 districts of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:- 

No Death: 

No death is reported during the last 24 hours in Covid hospitals of Darjeeling district. 

6 in SMC:

6 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (5 in Darjeeling and 1 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

7 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 7 positive cases of Darjeeling district, 5 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC, 1 in Naxalbari and 1 in Matigara.

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 9 new cases,18062 confirmed cases of which 17565 have recovered and 200 died while 297 are active cases.

3 in Kalimpong:

3 new cases, 2 release reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 3 new cases, 2194 confirmed cases of which 2133 have recovered, 24 died and 37 are active cases.

1 in Alipurduar:

1 new cases, 2 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 6 new cases, 7669 confirmed cases of which 7542 have recovered and 85 died while 42 are active cases.

6 in Coochbehar: 

6 new cases, 6 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 13 new cases, 11760 confirmed cases of which 11555 have recovered, 72 died and 133 are active cases.

12 in Jalpaiguri: 

12 new cases, 28 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 8 new cases, 14519 confirmed cases of which 157 died while 14135 have recovered and 227 are active cases.

1 in Malda:  

1 new cases reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 5 new cases, 12568 confirmed cases of which 12286 have recovered and 113 died and 169 are active cases.

17 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 17 cases have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients of  private hospitals and army establishments. 

NBMCH

During the last 24 hours 6 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 3 in Surgical isolation wards and 3 patients admitted in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, and no patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and in Isolation ward -1.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 19 Covid-19 patients (4 are in ICU) are admitted, during the last 24 hours no patients are newly admitted and 3 released.

COVID PATIENTS IN THE SIX OUT OF 8 DISTRICTS OF NORTH BENGAL

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 9 new cases,18062 confirmed cases of which 17565 have recovered and 200 died while 297 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 3 new cases, 2194 confirmed cases of which 2133 have recovered, 24 died and 37 are active cases.

Alipurduar records 6 new cases, 7669 confirmed cases of which 7542 have recovered and 85 died while 42 are active cases.

Coochbehar records 13 new cases, 11760 confirmed cases of which 11555 have recovered, 72 died and 133 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 8 new cases, 14519 confirmed cases of which 157 died while 14135 have recovered and 227 are active cases.

Malda records 5 new cases, 12568 confirmed cases of which 12286 have recovered and 113 died and 169 are active cases.
