A relief after so naby months of Covid infections. 0 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (0 in Darjeeling and 0 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

3 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 3 positive cases of Darjeeling district, 0 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC, while 0 is from Darjeeling Hills. Of the plains they are- 1 in Matigara, 1 in Khoribari and 1 in Naxalbari.

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 12 new cases,18225 confirmed cases of which 17800 have recovered and 203 died while 222 are active cases.

7 in Kalimpong:

7 new cases, 1 release reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 1 new cases, 2215 confirmed cases of which 2150 have recovered, 25 died and 40 are active cases.

7 new cases, 4 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 7 new cases, 14601 confirmed cases of which 159 died while 14292 have recovered and 150 are active cases.

7 in Uttar Dinajpur:

7 new cases, 4 release reported today from Uttar Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 Uttar Dinajpur records 7 new cases, 6590 confirmed cases of which 73 died while 6412 have recovered and 105 are active cases.

1 in Dakshin Dinajpur:

1 new cases, 4 release reported today from Dakshin Dinajpur. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hour Dakshin Dinajpur records 4 new cases, 8144 confirmed cases of which 74 died while 8024 have recovered and 45 are active cases.

4 in Malda:  

4 new cases reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 5 new cases, 12619 confirmed cases of which 12390 have recovered and 113 died and 116 are active cases.

6 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 6 cases have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments.

During the last 24 hours no suspected Covid patients are admitted in all three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are no patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, Surgical isolation ward and Isolation ward -1.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 11 Covid-19 patients (4 are in ICU) are admitted, during the last 24 hours 1 patient are newly admitted and 0 released.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 12 new cases,18225 confirmed cases of which 17800 have recovered and 203 died while 222 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 1 new cases, 2215 confirmed cases of which 2150 have recovered, 25 died and 40 are active cases.
