2 death; 4 of Hills (3 of Kalimpong and 1 of Darjeeling), 6 of SMC are infected

19 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 3 in Kalimpong,  1 in Darjeeling Municipality. Of the plains they are- 1 in Naxalbari and 3 in Matigara.

1 in Alipurduar, 3 in Coochbehar, 7 in Jalpaiguri, 13 in Malda districts tested positive.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 13 January 2021 : Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals in the 5 of the 7 districts of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:- 

2 Death: 

2 death is reported during the last 24 hours in Covid hospitals of Darjeeling district. 

Md. Sabir Alam, 65 yr old of Katihar Bihar and

Naresh Ch. Dutt, 66 yr old of Bairatiguri Hospitalpara Dhupguri died in Dr. Chhang’s Covid Hospital.

6 in SMC:

6 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (4 in Darjeeling and 2 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

9 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 9 positive cases of Darjeeling district, 4 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC, while 1 is from Darjeeling Hills- 1 in Darjeeling Municipality. Of the plains they are- 1 in Naxalbari and 3 in Matigara.

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 21 new cases,18108 confirmed cases of which 17623 have recovered and 200 died while 285 are active cases.

3 in Kalimpong:

3 new cases, 2 release reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 3 new cases, 2198 confirmed cases of which 2136 have recovered, 24 died and 38 are active cases.

1 in Alipurduar:

1 new cases, 3 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 3 new cases, 7673 confirmed cases of which 7547 have recovered and 85 died while 41 are active cases.

3 in Coochbehar: 

3 new cases, 3 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 4 new cases, 11767 confirmed cases of which 11573 have recovered, 72 died and 122 are active cases.

7 in Jalpaiguri: 

7 new cases, 20 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 11 new cases, 14537 confirmed cases of which 157 died while 14176 have recovered and 204 are active cases.

13 in Malda:  

13 new cases reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 6 new cases, 12578 confirmed cases of which 12306 have recovered and 113 died and 159 are active cases.

19 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 19 cases have been released from Covid hospitals that also includes home isolation patients but excluding patients in private hospitals and army establishments. 

NBMCH

During the last 24 hours 7 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 3 in Surgical isolation wards and 2 patients admitted in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, and 2 patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and nil in Isolation ward -1.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 21 Covid-19 patients (5 are in ICU) are admitted, during the last 24 hours 4 patient is newly admitted and 3 released.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 21 new cases,18108 confirmed cases of which 17623 have recovered and 200 died while 285 are active cases.
