No death: 7 of Hills (5 of Kalimpong and 2 of Darjeeling), 18 of SMC, 8 of GTA infected

35 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 5 in Kalimpong, 1 in Darjeeling Municipality, 1 in Pulbazar,. Of the plains they are- 1 in Khoribari,  1 in Phansidewa, 3 in Naxalbari, 5 in Matigara tested positive. 

5 in Malda, 8 in Alipurduar, 12 in Coochbehar, 30 in Jalpaiguri and tested positive.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 27 December 2020: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals in the 5 of the 7 districts of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:- 

Nil Death: 

No death

18 in SMC:

18 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (14 in Darjeeling and 4 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

26 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 26 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district, 14 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC while 2 is from the Darjeeling hills - 1 in Darjeeling Municipality, 1 in Pulbazar,. Of the plains they are- 1 in Khoribari,  1 in Phansidewa, 3 in Naxalbari, 5 in Matigara tested positive. 

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 45 new cases,17638 confirmed cases of which 16953 have recovered and 197 died while 488 are active cases.

5 in Kalimpong:

5 new cases (4 admitted in Tribeni Covid hospital and rest in safe homes) reported today from Kalimpong. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 8 new cases, 2141 confirmed cases of which 2066 have recovered, 23 died and 52 are active cases.

5 in Malda:  

5 new cases, 28 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 24 new cases, 12425 confirmed cases of which 11975 have recovered and 111 died and 339 are active cases.

8 in Alipurduar:

8 new cases, 6 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 8 new cases, 7617 confirmed cases of which 7475 have recovered and 85 died while 57 are active cases.

12 in Coochbehar: 

12 new cases, 9 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 28 new cases, 11626 confirmed cases of which 11184 have recovered, 71 died and 371 are active cases.

30 in Jalpaiguri: 

30 new cases, 26 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 35 new cases, 14257 confirmed cases of which 155 died while 13671 have recovered and 431 are active cases.

35 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 35 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital, Nivedita Nursing Home, Tribeni Covid Hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today. 

NBMCH

During the last 24 hours 6 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 3 patients are admitted in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, 2 in Surgical isolation ward  and 1 in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, and no patients inIsolation ward -1.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 14 Covid-19 patients are admitted, during the last 24 hours 1 patient newly admitted and 5 released.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 11 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 4 patients are newly admitted and 1 released.

COVID PATIENTS IN THE SIX DISTRICTS OUT OF 8 DISTRICTS OF NORTH BENGAL

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs and from the beginning till today stated that Darjeeling district records 45 new cases,17638 confirmed cases of which 16953 have recovered and 197 died while 488 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 8 new cases, 2141 confirmed cases of which 2066 have recovered, 23 died and 52 are active cases.
