29 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 14 in Kalimpong, 3 in Darjeeling Municipality, 12 in Kurseong Municipality, 1 in Pulbazar, 2 in Sukhiapokhari, 4 in Mirik and 1 in Takdah. Of the plains they are- 5 in Sukuna, 6 in Khoribari,  19 in Matigara, 16 in Naxalbari, and  20 in Phansidewa tested positive. 49 in Alipurduar, 53 in Coochbehar, 131 in Jalpaiguri, 72 in Malda tested positive.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 11 November 2020: Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals within the 5 of the 7 districts of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:- 

4 Death: 

4 death reported during the last 24 hours in the designated Covid hospitals and nursing homes of Darjeeling district.

Om Prakash Sinha, 54 yr old of Shantiniketan Apartment Sushrutnagar Kalamjote (admitted on 9 November) died in Desun Covid Hospital

Babli Mahali, 20 yr old of Batabari Jalpaiguri (admitted on 9 November);

Tara Sherpa, 80 yr old of Donbosco Netaji Colony ;

Kamala Gajmer, 64 yr old of Dowhill Kurseong (admitted on 8 November) died in in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital. (Yesterday J B Chhetri, 77 yr old of Dowhill Kurseong died in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital. He was admitted on 3 November.

96 of SMC:

96 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (56 of Darjeeling and 40 of Jalpaiguri district) tested positive. 

 

145 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 145 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 56 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC while 1is from the Darjeeling hills and they are- 3 in Darjeeling Municipality, 12 in Kurseong Municipality, 1 in Pulbazar, 2 in Sukhiapokhari, 4 in Mirik and 1 in Takdah. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 151 new cases, 12980 confirmed cases of which 11734 have recovered and 154 died while 1092 are active cases.

14 in Kalimpong:

14 new cases from Kalimpong is reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 14 new cases, 1570 confirmed cases of which 1469 have recovered, 17 died and 84 are active cases.

72 in Malda:  

72 new case, 85 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 81 new cases, 10565 confirmed cases of which 9807 have recovered and 90 died and 668 are active cases.

 

49 in Alipurduar:

49 new cases, 65 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 32 new cases, 6767 confirmed cases of which 6515 have recovered and 78 died while 174 are active cases.

53 in Coochbehar: 

53 new cases with 93 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records  95 new cases, 9605 confirmed cases of which 8749 have recovered, 57 died and 799 are active cases.

131 in Jalpaiguri: 

4 death, 131 new cases, 134 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 119 new cases, 10245 confirmed cases of which 104 died while 9339 have recovered and 802 are active cases.

29 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 29 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today. 

NBMCH

During the last 24 hours 24 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 10 patients in Surgical isolation ward, and 8 in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, 6 patient in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and no patient in Isolation ward -1 are admitted.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 64 Covid-19 patients are admitted while 10 are in ICU, while during the last 24 hours 6 patients are newly admitted and 12 are released.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 73 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 4 patients are newly admitted, 13 are released.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs stated that Darjeeling district records 151 new cases, 12980 confirmed cases of which 11734 have recovered and 154 died while 1092 are active cases.

Similarly Kalimpong district records 14 new cases, 1570 confirmed cases of which 1469 have recovered, 17 died and 84 are active cases.

Alipurduar records 32 new cases, 6767 confirmed cases of which 6515 have recovered and 78 died while 174 are active cases.

Coochbehar records  95 new cases, 9605 confirmed cases of which 8749 have recovered, 57 died and 799 are active cases.

Jalpaiguri records 119 new cases, 10245 confirmed cases of which 104 died while 9339 have recovered and 802 are active cases.
