108 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 6 in Kalimpong, 6 in Darjeeling Municipality, 11 in Kurseong Municipality, 3 in Pulbazar, 3 in Sukhiapokhari, 8 in Mirik and 1 in Takdah. Of the plains they are- 6 in Sukuna, 4 in Khoribari,  23 in Matigara, 8 in Naxalbari, and  5 in Phansidewa tested positive. 32 in Alipurduar, 43 in Coochbehar, 87 in Jalpaiguri, 72 in Malda tested positive.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 13 November 2020 updated : Reports received and collected regarding testing and treatment of Covid patients in the different Hospitals within the 5 of the 7 districts of North Bengal including Darjeeling district and Gorkhaland Territorial Administration during the last 24 hours:-  

3 Death: 3 death reported during the last 24 hours in the designated Covid hospitals and nursing homes of Darjeeling district.

Subrata Ghose, 72 yr old of Purba Ukkil Para Kotwali Jalpaiguri;

Pran Ballav Mondal, 60  yr old of 2 no Dabgram Bahubazar Shantinagar Siliguri , and

Lalita Burman, 50 yr old of Manchhu Kamari Ghagra Alipurduar died in Desun Covid Hospital

66 of SMC:

66 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (48 of Darjeeling and 18 of Jalpaiguri district) tested positive. 

130 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 130 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 48 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC while 32 are is from the Darjeeling hills and they are- 6 in Darjeeling Municipality, 11 in Kurseong Municipality, 3 in Pulbazar, 3 in Sukhiapokhari, 8 in Mirik and 1 in Takdah. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 148 new cases, 13267 confirmed cases of which 12026 have recovered and 155 died while 1086 are active cases.

6 in Kalimpong:

6 new cases from Kalimpong is reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 6 new cases, 1588 confirmed cases of which 1514 have recovered, 19 died and 55 are active cases.

72 in Malda:  

72 new case reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 77 new cases, 10695 confirmed cases of which 9982 have recovered and 91 died and 622 are active cases.

32 in Alipurduar:

32 new cases, 34 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 23 new cases, 6822 confirmed cases of which 6590 have recovered and 79 died while 153 are active cases.

43 in Coochbehar: 

43 new cases with 104 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 86 new cases, 9792 confirmed cases of which 8935 have recovered, 57 died and 800 are active cases.

87 in Jalpaiguri: 

1 death, 87 new cases, 147 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 121 new cases, 10499 confirmed cases of which 107 died while 9575 have recovered and 817 are active cases.

61 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 61 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today. 

NBMCH

During the last 24 hours 18 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 7 patients in Surgical isolation ward, and 7 in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, 4 patient in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and no patient in Isolation ward -1 are admitted.

1 of Lopchu T.G, 1 of Rangli Rangliot, and 1 of Topkhana Kalimpong are admitted.

At present in Dr.Chhang’s  SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 68 Covid-19 patients are admitted while 14 are in ICU, while during the last 24 hours 9 patients are newly admitted and 8 are released.

At Dr.Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital- 1 each of  Tamsang, Marybong TG, Mahanadi, Naya Bazar, Kurseong, Sudhapa tol Kurseong, Springside TE Kurseong, Methibari Sukuna, 2 of  St. Mary’s Hill, 2 of Kurseong, 1 each of Chhota Kagjhora Darjeeling, Pratap Gaon Mirik, Krishnanagar Mirik, Lava Suntalay and Sangsay Kaman, GTA area are admitted.

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 72 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 9 patients are newly admitted, 12 are released.

The number of Covid-19 infected people in the district of Darjeeling are, 613 in home quarantine - in Kalimpong district 642 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1255.
