94 recovered from Covid-19,  Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 18 in Kalimpong, 1 in Darjeeling Municipality, 8 in Kurseong Municipality,1 in Takdah. Of the plains they are- 8 in Sukuna, 20 in Matigara,  17 in Naxalbari, 2 in Khoribari and 9 in Phansidewa tested positive. 39 in Alipurduar, 69 in Coochbehar, 98 in Jalpaiguri, 115 in Malda tested positive.

Nil Death: No death is reported during the last 24 hours in Covid hospitals of Darjeeling district.

65 of SMC:

65 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (38 in Darjeeling and 27 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 

104 in Darjeeling district:

Of the 104 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 38 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC while 10 are from the Darjeeling hills and they are- 1 in Darjeeling Municipality, 8 in Kurseong Municipality,1 in Takdah. Of the plains they are- 8 in Sukuna, 20 in Matigara,  17 in Naxalbari, 2 in Khoribari and 9 in Phansidewa tested positive. 

State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district with 119 new cases has 11250 confirmed cases of which 9640 have recovered and 139 died while 1471 are active cases. 

18 infected in Kalimpong: 

18 new cases from Kalimpong reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district with 18 new cases has 1411 confirmed cases of which 1283 have recovered, 14 died and 114 are active cases. 

115 in Malda: 

2 death, 115 new cases, 103 release reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda with 108 new cases has 9598 confirmed cases of which 8469 have recovered and 82 died and 1047 are active cases.

39 in Alipurduar:

39 new cases, 49 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar with 21 new cases has 6333 confirmed cases of which 5848 have recovered and 76 died while 409 are active cases. 

69 in Coochbehar: 

69 new cases with 75 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar with 82 new cases has 8392 confirmed cases of which 7376 have recovered, 51 died and 965 are active cases. 

98 in Jalpaiguri: 

98 new cases, 180 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri with 98 new cases has 8898 confirmed cases of which 86 died while 7674 have recovered and 1138 are active cases. 

94 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 94 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

During the last 24 hours 11 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 2 patients in Surgical isolation ward, and 5 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward, 4 patient in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and no patient in Isolation ward -1 are admitted.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 45 Covid-19 patients are admitted of them 11 are in ICU, while during the last 24 hours patients are newly admitted and 10 are released and 15 are referred.

At Dr.Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital- 1 each of  Singel TE, Holy Cross, Bhotay Busty Darjeeling, Ging, Balason, Ava Art Gallery and 1 of Sindebong Kalimpong, Lower Sindebong Kalimpong, Mangmaya and Jholung GTA area are admitted.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 48 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 4 patients are newly admitted.

1 each MV Road Kurseong, Pankhabari, Burbong Busty, Fatak Danra, Kurseong, and D M Office Kalimpong of GTA area are admitted. 

NIVEDITA Nursing Home
55 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 32 are Covid patients. 7 patients are released. 25 patients are being treated in its Safe home.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs stated that Darjeeling district with 119 new cases has 11250 confirmed cases of which 9640 have recovered and 139 died while 1471 are active cases. 

Similarly Kalimpong district with 18 new cases has 1411 confirmed cases of which 1283 have recovered, 14 died and 114 are active cases.
