Cyclonic circulation associated with the Low Pressure system - ikely to form over central Bay of Bengal around 19th October. It is likely to be come more marked during subsequent 24 hours.

17th October 2020: 
Major Weather System over the Region 
Southwest monsoon been active over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and subdued over Bihar, Jharkhand, Sikkim and SubHimalayan West Bengal. 
Rain occurred at most places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Odisha; at one or two places over Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal. 
Weather remained mainly dry over Bihar, Sikkim and Sub- Himalayan West Bengal. A cyclonic circulation lies over west central Bay of Bengal off south Andhra Pradesh coast and extends upto 5.8 km above mean sealevel. 
The trough between 1.5 & 2.1 km above mean sealevel from cyclonic circulation over westcentral Bay of Bengal off south Andhra Pradesh coast to cyclonic circulation associated with the Low Pressure system over Eastcentral & adjoining  Northeast Arabian Sea roughly along Lat.18° N has become less marked. 
A fresh Low pressure area likely to form over central Bay of Bengal around 19th October. It is likely to be come more marked during subsequent 24 hours.
