48 recovered from Covid-19,  Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 8 of Kalimpong, 4 in Darjeeling Municipality, 8 in Kurseong Municipality, 3 in Sukhiapokhari, 2 in Takdah and 1 in Mirik. Of the plains they are- 11 in Sukuna, 22 in Matigara, 25 in Naxalbari, 7 in Phansidewa and 3 in Khoribari, 91 in Alipurduar, 27 in Jalpaiguri, 87 in Malda tested positive.

2 deaths reported during the last 24 hours in Covid hospitals of Darjeeling district.
2 death in Tribeni Covid Hospital reported (details awaited).
Hari bdr Chhetri, 76 yr old of Binnaguri and
Subhas Saha, 60 yr old of Sukantanagar Jalpaiguri died in Desun Covid Hospital
           
81 of SMC:
81 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (59 in Darjeeling and 22 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive. 
 
145 of Darjeeling district:
Of the 145 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 59 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC while 18 are from the Darjeeling hills and they are- 4 in Darjeeling Municipality, 8 in Kurseong Municipality, 3 in Sukhiapokhari, 2 in Takdah and 1 in Mirik. Of the plains they are- 11 in Sukuna, 22 in Matigara, 25 in Naxalbari, 7 in Phansidewa and 3 in Khoribari, tested positive. 
State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district with 189 new cases has 10403 confirmed cases of which 9036 have recovered and 133 died while 1234 are active cases. 
 
8 of Kalimpong: 
2 death in Tribeni Covid Hospital and 8 new cases from Kalimpong reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district with 8 new cases has 1349 confirmed cases of which 1191 have recovered, 12 died and 146 are active cases. 
 
87 of Malda: 
87 new cases reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda with 91 new cases has 8985 confirmed cases of which 7922 have recovered and 73 died and 990 are active cases.
 
91 of Alipurduar:
91 new cases, 48 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar with 55 new cases has 6134 confirmed cases of which 5510 have recovered and 73 died while 551 are active cases. 
 
27 of Jalpaiguri: 
27 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri with 142 new cases has 8267 confirmed cases of which 81 died while 7065 have recovered and 1121 are active cases. 
 
48 Discharged:
After testing negative and recovery 48 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

QUARANTINE CENTRES AND SAFE HOMES
The number of Covid-19 infected people in the district of Darjeeling are, 707 in home quarantine - in Kalimpong district 642 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1349.
There are 12 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 21 in GTA area and 16 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 2 in Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 45 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.

Today’s daily state bulletin regarding the report of the last 24 hrs stated that Darjeeling district with 189 new cases has 10403 confirmed cases of which 9036 have recovered and 133 died while 1234 are active cases. 
Similarly Kalimpong district with 8 new cases has 1349 confirmed cases of which 1191 have recovered, 12 died and 146 are active cases. 
Alipurduar with 55 new cases has 6134 confirmed cases of which 5510 have recovered and 73 died while 551 are active cases. 
Jalpaiguri with 142 new cases has 8267 confirmed cases of which 81 died while 7065 have recovered and 1121 are active cases. 
Coochbehar with 98 new cases has 7840 confirmed cases of which 6904 have recovered, 51 died and 885 are active cases.
