5 deaths reported during the last 24 hours in Covid hospitals of Darjeeling district.
Sayeeda Khatun, 55 yr old of Kishangunj died in Desun Covid Hospital.
Pakhi Debnath, 55 yr old of NJP Bhaktinagar, Debashis Dutta, 58 yr old of Jyotinagar Siliguri
Sanjay Sarkar, 48 yr old of Falakatta died in a Nursing Home at Sevoke Road.
A 59 yr old person of Ramkrishna Road Ashrampara died in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital.
A 4 days old Baby of Naya Sailee TE Nagarkatta died in NBMCH. Her mother was Covid-19 positive but the childs test result was awaited.

There are 12 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 21 in GTA area and 10 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 2 in Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 45 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.
