37 of SMC:

37 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (26 of Darjeeling and 11 from Jalpaiguri district) tested positive during the last 24 hrs. They are: 3 of Ward nos.2, 8, 14, 22; 2 of Ward nos.7, 16, 43; 1 of Ward nos 3, 10,  15, 17, 21, 26, 28, 30, 34, 38, 40, 47, Pranami Mandir Road, Laketown , Court More and others tested positive.

85 of Darjeeling district:

Of the 85 positive cases of Darjeeling district 26 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 59 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are 6 of Darjeeling Municipality, 2 of Kurseong, 6 of Sukhiapokhari, 2 of Pulbazar, 6 of Sukuna, 11 of Matigara, 17 of Naxalbari, 6 of Phansidewa and 3 of Khoribari.   

Darjeeling district has 5914 confirmed cases of which 5166 have recovered and 85 died while 663 are active cases. As per the departmental bulletin, within 24 hours of yesterday 86 new cases were reported.

3 of Kalimpong: 3 new cases reported from Kalimpong including Bhim Agarwal Vice Chairman of Kalimpong Municipality. Kalimpong district has 579 confirmed cases of which 501 have recovered, 3 died and 75 are active cases.  As per the departmental bulletin, within 24 hours of yesterday 9 new cases were reported. 

56 of Malda: 56 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 5368 confirmed cases of which 4976 have recovered and 44 died and 285 are active cases.

69 of Alipurduar: 69 new cases reported. Alipurduar has 3076 confirmed cases of which 2479 have recovered and 27 died while 570 are active cases of which 3432 have recovered, 17 died and 576 are active cases. 

85 of Jalpaiguri: 1 died, 85 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 4467 confirmed cases of which 38 died while 3862 have recovered and 567 are active cases.

76 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 76 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

 

NBMCH

11 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There 3 patient in RICU ward and 8 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 1 of Assam died.

1 each of Zakir Hussain Road, Darjeeling and Jholung, Pedong and of Bagdhara Kalimpong are admitted.

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 74 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 15 is newly admitted while 11 are released. 1 of Bijanbari died.

3 of Kurseong, , and 1 of Gurung gaon and 1 of Jorebunglow, 1 of Ramgerung TE, 1 of Lhasa Villa, 1 of Malidhura Darjeeling  and 1 of Thakurbari Kalimpong and 1 of Mongpong Outpost of GTA area are admitted. 1 released.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 53 Covid-19 patients are admitted, 14 are in ICU and 4 patients are newly admitted and 13 released. 

1 each of Makaibari, Below Darjeeling College, Sukuna, Jorebunglow, Zakir Hussain Road, Darjeeling, Lower Makaibari,  and 1 each of Thakurbari, Kalimpong, and Monsong of GTA area are admitted, 2 are referred and 1 is released.

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

51 patients are admitted of which 11 are in ICU are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 30 are Covid patients. 9 released.

The number of people in the district of Darjeeling are, 982 in home quaramtine - in Kalimpong district 654 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1636.

There are 18 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 22 in GTA area and 49 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 3 in 2 Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 92 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.
