4 Death: No Covid is reported from Darjeeling district.

Shanti Biswas, 65 yr old of Subhasnagar, Madarihat (Alipurduar dist),Manmaya Subba, 70 yr old of Sonada, Achyut Ghose, 58 yr old of Krantihat, Mohanlal Das, 68 yr old of Islampur died in Desun Covid Hospital.

32 of SMC:

32 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (28 of Darjeeling and 4 from Jalpaiguri district). The infected are tested positive during the last 24 hrs.

74 of Darjeeling district:

Of the 74 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district 26 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 48 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are 4 in Darjeeling Municipality, 3 in Sukhiapokhari, 2 in Mirik, 3 in Sukuna, 16 in Matigara, 9 in Naxalbari, 7 in Phansidewa and 2 in Khoribari tested positive. 

Darjeeling district has 6814 confirmed cases of which 5880 have recovered and 94 died while 840 are active cases. 

1 in Kalimpong: 1 new case reported. Kalimpong district has 732 confirmed cases of which 590- have recovered, 3 died and 139 are active cases. 

83 of Malda: 83 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 6029 confirmed cases of which 5381 have recovered and 51 died and 597 are active cases.

26 of Alipurduar:  26 new cases reported. Alipurduar has 3725 confirmed cases of which 3092 have recovered and 35 died while 598 are active cases. 

116 of Coochbehar:  116 new cases of Covid 19 infection. Coochbehar has 4703 confirmed cases of which 4076 have recovered, 28 died and 599 are active cases. 

20 of Jalpaiguri: 1 died,  20 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 5151 confirmed cases of which 43 died while 4455 have recovered and 653 are active cases. 

53 Discharged:

After testing negative and recovery 53 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

 

NBMCH

14 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 5 patients in Surgical isolation ward, 2 patients in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and 7 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 

1 of Bagdhara and 1 of Pedong Kalimpong are admitted.  

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 81 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 12 is newly admitted and 7 released.

3 of Giddepahar Kurseong and 1 each of Kurseong, Sukuna, Sonada, Tindharia, Dowhill, Meadow Bank Darjeeling,  Baru Busty Kurseong and 1 each of Ongden Road, , Rockvale,  and Jaldhaka of GTA area are admitted. 2 of Thakurbari Kalimpong and Mongpong Police Force are released.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 76 Covid-19 patients are admitted, 12 are in ICU and 20 patients are newly admitted and 16 released

1 each of Mahendra Gaon Mirik, Sukhiapokhari,  Bloomfield Darjeeling, Dowhill Road Kurseong,  are admitted.

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

54 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 36 are Covid patients. 7 released.

There are 18 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 28 in GTA area and 66 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 4 in 1 Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 116 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.
