73 yr old of Subedar Busty, Kurseong died in Dr. Chhang’s SS Covid hospital.

11 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 7 patients in Surgical isolation ward, 2 patient in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and 2 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 1 of Naya Busty Kurseong and 1 of Chhota Suruk admitted, 1 of Naya Bazar Kurseong, 2 of Lower Bhalukhop Khasmahal and Samsing referred.

The number of people in the district of Darjeeling are, 1135 in home quarantine - in Kalimpong district 621 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1756.
There are 24 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 30 in GTA area and 45 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 6 in 2 Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 105 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.
