1 death: 

Pranay Sundas, 45 Yrs, of Darjeeling Sadar died in RICU ward of NBMCH.

 

13 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation: During the last 24 hrs of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (9 of Darjeeling and 4 from Jalpaiguri district) tested positive. They are-    2 of Ward no. 37, 41; 1 of Ward nos. 4, 15, 29, Babupara, and others.

 

51 of Darjeeling district:

Of the 50 positive cases of Darjeeling district 9 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 42 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are 1 of Darjeeling MC, 4 of Kalimpong, 7 of Kurseong MC, 6 of Pulbazar of Bijanbari, 1 of Sukuna, 14 of Naxalbari, 9 of Matigara and 1 of Khoribari are active cases.   

Darjeeling has 4850 confirmed cases of which 4009 have recovered and 74 died while 767 are active cases. 

4 of Kalimpong district: 4 cases are reported from Kalimpong. Kalimpong district has 455 confirmed cases of which 390 have recovered, 3 died and 62 are active cases. 

 

77 of Malda: 77 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 4865 confirmed cases of which 4192 have recovered and 39 died and 634 are active cases.

 

89 of Alipurduar: 1 died of Patpara, 89 new cases reported. In the district there are 1888 confirmed cases of which 1236 have recovered and 11 died while 641 are active cases. 

 

92 of Coochbehar: 92 new cases of Covid 19 infection. The complete report of the district is 2700 confirmed cases of which 1999 have recovered, 8 died and 693 are active cases. 

 

38 of Jalpaiguri: 1died, 38 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 3393 confirmed cases of which 34 died while 2648 have recovered and 711 are active cases. 

52 Discharged: 

After testing negative and recovery 14 of Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital and 5 of Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

 

NBMCH

18 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).

There is no patient in ID-1 and 7 in Surgical Isolation, 5 patient in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 6 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 

 

DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 64 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 10 are newly admitted while 15 are released. 

5 of Kurseong, 1 of Takdah, and 1 of Kalimpong of GTA area are admitted.

2 of Kalimpong released.

DESUN Covid Hospital

In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 38 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 5 patients are newly admitted and10 released.

5 of Darjeeling, 3 of Kurseong, 1 Rongtong and 1 of Sukuna, of GTA area are admitted in this hospital. 3 released.

 

NIVEDITA Nursing Home

46 patients are admitted of which 11 are in ICU including a doctor of Bagdogra and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 31  are Covid patients. 6 released.

The number of people in the district of Darjeeling are, 691 in home quaramtine - in Kalimpong district 697 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1388. 

There are 17 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospitals outside GTA area, 34 in GTA area and 42 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 1 in 1 Safe home out of GTA area, the tally being 89 as active cases.

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 4850 confirmed cases of which 4009 have recovered and 74 died while 767 are active cases. 

Similarly Kalimpong district has 455 confirmed cases of which 390 have recovered, 3 died and 62 are active cases. 

Alipurduar has 1888 confirmed cases of which 1236 have recovered and 11 died while 641 are active cases. 

Jalpaiguri has 3393 confirmed cases of which 34 died while 2648 have recovered and 711 are active cases. 

Coochbehar has 2700 confirmed cases of which 1999 have recovered, 8 died and 693 are active cases.
