Diwas Rai, 38 year old of Sukhipokhari, Darjeeling and Makhon Burman, 66 year old of Bhujiapani, Bagdogra died at Dr. Chhang’s SS Covid hospital.
Nil Mani Das, 62 year old of New Town of Alipurduar died at Desun Covid hospital.
26 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation: During the last 24 hrs 26 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (18 of Darjeeling and 8 from Jalpaiguri district) tested positive. They are- 4 of Ward no. 24, 1 of Ward no 4, 31, 36, 47 and others.
71 of Darjeeling district:
Of the 71 positive cases of Darjeeling district 18 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 53 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are 1 of Darjeeling, 4 of Kurseong, 1 of Sukhiapokhari, 1 of Takdah, 2 of Sukuna, 22 of Naxalbari, 12 of Matigara, 3 of Phansidewa and 7 of Khoribari are active cases.
Darjeeling district has 4598 confirmed cases of which 3649 have recovered and 67 died while 882 are active cases.
Nil of Kalimpong district: No cases is reported from Kalimpong. Kalimpong district has 438 confirmed cases of which 334 have recovered, 3 died and 101 are active cases.

78 of Coochbehar: 78 new cases of Covid 19 infection with 47 recovery is reported today. The complete report of the district is 2337 confirmed cases of which 1892 have recovered, 5 died and 440 are active cases.
89 of Jalpaiguri: 1died, 89 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. 26 cases were reported from Nagarkatta. Jalpaiguri has 3071 confirmed cases of which 30 died while 2300 have recovered and 741 are active cases.

After testing negative and recovery 14 of Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital and 5 of Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

18 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH).
There is 1 patient in ID-1, no patient in Surgical Isolation, 1 patient in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 16 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted.

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 86 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 12 are newly admitted while 4 are released.

DESUN Covid Hospital
In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 72 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 7 patients are newly admitted and 14 released.
1 of Darjeeling, 3 of Kurseong, 1 Sukhiapokhari, 1 of Sukuna, 1 of Bhakti Busty Darjeeling and 1 from Singamari Darjeeling are admitted in this hospital.

There are 18 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospitals outside GTA area, 52 in GTA area and 45 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 2 in 1 Safe home out of GTA area, the tally being 117 as active cases.

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 4598 confirmed cases of which 3649 have recovered and 67 died while 882 are active cases.
Similarly Kalimpong district has 438 confirmed cases of which 334 have recovered, 3 died and 101 are active cases.
Alipurduar has 1550 confirmed cases of which 1073 have recovered and 10 died while 467 are active cases.
Jalpaiguri has 3071 confirmed cases of which 30 died while 2300 have recovered and 741 are active cases.
