Record 94 of Malda , 82 of Siliguri tests positive, 3 Covid patient dies in Siliguri, complete lockdown in Siliguri for 7 days, 5 of Kurseong, 7 of Kalimpong ( over a week)23 of Coochbehar, 12 of Jalpaiguri tested positive, 54 discharged.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 15 July 2020: 

Lockdown in Siliguri: Lockdown in the 47 Wards of Siliguri will be implemented till 22 July.

3 died in Siliguri: A 45 yr old Covid patient of Hyderpara died at Dr. Chhang’s Covid SS Hospital.

40 yr old of Ward no. 10, Church Road was admitted in Medica Nursing home and the patient died there.

64 yr old of Hakimpara died on the way to hospital.

82 of Siliguri infected: Record 82 persons of Siliguri tested positive today. They are in various numbers from the Ward Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 19, 20, 25, 30, 31, 32, 37, 38, 39, 40, 42 and 43.  

5 of Kurseong Tested positive: Fove persons of different areas of Kurseong tested positive to Covid-19. 3 are migrant workers of Bihar who had reached in Makaibari, one is a police personnel and another a local resident of Tindharia.

7 positive from Kalimpong: In the recent times the following cases from Kalimpong tested positive- one each from Chalaouni Forest Village under Gorubathan on 15th July; from Somabaray Bazar Gorubathan (patient died ) and from 4th Mile Kalimpong on 14th July; from Sangsay on 13th July; from Gorubathan BPHC (a doctor), from Kumai Factory line and from Sherpagaon Gorubathan on 8th July.   

Malda:  Record 94 new cases and 1 death reported today from Malda. There are 1205 Confirmed cases, 700 have recovered and 7 died and 499 are active cases. BMOH of Ratua also tested positive.

Jalpaiguri:  12 new case is reported from Jalpaiguri today. In the district there are 594 confirmed cases of which 396 have recovered, 4 died and 194 active cases.

Alipurduar:   No new case reported from Alipurduar. In the district there are 208 Confirmed cases, 189 recovered and 19 active cases. 

Coochbehar:  23 new cases of Covid 19 infection reported today. The complete report of the district is 373 confirmed cases of which 2 are nationals of Bangladesh and 1 of them had died, 306 recovery and 66 active cases. 

54 Discharged: After testing negative twice and recovery from the infection- 19 from Dr. Chhang’s Covid Superspeciality hospital,16 from Desun Covid hospital and 5 from different Safe homes are discharged.,

NBMCH

There are 10 patients in the three Isolation Ward of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). 7 of them tested positive while 4 are very serious.

There are 5 patients in Isolation Ward-1, 1 in Isolation Ward-II, 6 patients in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 10 patients (including the injured wife of the dead Covid teacher who with her two daughters were injured during a suicide bid) in Surgical ward are admitted. 

1 of Sukuna is admitted in Isolation ward of NBMCH.

DR. CHHANG'S SS COVID hospital 

At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 101 patients are admitted today. 

There are 3 patients of GTA, 2 patients of Lebong and 1 of Kalimpong are admitted.

 

DESUN hospital

DESUN hospital is the second Covid hospital of Darjeeling district. In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 71 Covid-19 patients are admitted of them 23 are in ICU.  

1 patient of Sukuna is admitted.   

TRIBENI Hospital

Presently there are 6 patients, 4 patients of Darjeeling and 2 of Kalimpong in Triveni hospital.

1 of Kalimpong is released.

HATIGHISA SAFE HOUSE 

There are 3 patients of GTA-, 1 patient of Boxi Jhora Darjeeling. 

Released- 1 patient of Lower Mirik.

BATASIA SAFE HOUSE 

1 patient of Mirik is admitted to this Safe House.

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 15 July 2020: 

The number of people in home quarantine in the district of Darjeeling is 1674 and in Kalimpong district is 1008, the tally of GTA area stands to 2782. 

Altogether there are 113 persons in 7 institutional facility quarantines of GTA.

Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 1015 confirmed cases of which 632 have recovered and 13 died while 370 are active cases. 

Similarly Kalimpong district has 59 confirmed cases of which 55 have recovered, 1 died and 3 are active cases. 

Alipurduar has 207 confirmed cases of which 188 have recovered while 19 are active cases. Jalpaiguri has 594 confirmed cases of which 3 died while 396 have recovered and 195 are active cases. 

CoochBehar has 365 confirmed cases of which 314 have recovered and 51 are active cases. 

Malda has 1384 confirmed cases of which 841 have recovered and 7 died and 536 are active cases.
