West Bengal: Recovery rate slowly decreasing since two days- today -64.56% , yesterday -65.07%- day before yesterday- 65.12%- 254 recovery, 521 new cases, 16711 confirmed cases, 5293 active cases, 13 death
In the state 521 new cases (1 day before-542, 2 days before- 475) as well as 13 death (1 day before-10, 2 days before-15) and 254 recovery (1 day before-345, 2 days before-488) is recorded in the last 24 hours.
The total number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in West Bengal is 16711 (1 day before-16190, 2 days before-15648) while active cases is 5293 (1 day before-5039, 2 days before-4852). The death toll from the disease till now is 629 (1 day before-616, 2 days before-606).
After recovery of the infection 10789 (1 day before-10535, days before-10190) Covid patients are released from the hospital and the rate of recovery has encouragingly increased to 64.56 %
The testing of swab samples for Covid-19 in 50, ICMR testing labs is being done and in the last 24 hours 9548 (1 day before-9537, 2 days before-9492) samples were tested that tally 458343 (1 day before-448795, 2 days before-439258) till now since day 1.
In the last 24 hours, 84291 persons (1 day before-90771, 2 days before-98751) were under home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance and a total of 307483 persons (1 day before-305367, 2 days before-302688) were in the home quarantine/ observation/ surveillance till today.
Number of people released from home quarantine was 223192 (1 day before-214596, 2 days before-203957).
Currently in the 582 institutional government quarantine centres there are 7181 persons (1 day before-7330, 2 days before-7865) and so far from these centres 94993 persons (1 day before-93898, 2 days before-93180) were released after recovery.
Currently in the state there are 78 Hospitals dedicated for treating COVID-19, 25 Government Covid hospitals and 53 Private Covid-19 hospitals.
