Sikkim Border medical camp ...Deputy commissioner of East Sikkim said the camp would provide free medical check-up, but the patients would have to pay for medicines

Raj Kumar Yadav, the deputy commissioner of East Sikkim, said the camp would provide free medical check-up, but the patients would have to pay for the medicines.
“We understand that the residents of Rangpo (Bengal) have started to face problems, particularly during medical emergencies. We have set up a 24X7 medical camp headed by doctors at the checkpost gate itself,” he said.
Yadav, however, added that in case of referral to higher medical facilities, the patients from the other side would have to be taken to hospitals within Bengal.
