
2 More ICMR labs in West Bengal- ...Most of the suspected peoples completing quarantine period

At the ITI Fagu quarantine centre of Gorubathan there are 16 asymptomic people.
Status Report of Covid-19 issued by the GTA states that there are 120 people for self quarantine in the district of Darjeeling. Yesterday there were 142 people under self quarantine.
Today's report states that there are 58 persons in self quarantine to complete their quarantine period in Kalimpong, yesterday, there were 78 persons yesterday and 84 persons day after yesterday in self quarantine.
In the state two more ICMR labs are started testing, they are Malda MCH and Command Hospital. There are now 10 ICMR labs.
As of today there are 287 confirmed cases with 198 active cases in the state. An official release of the West Bengal Health and family welfare department on Covid-19 states that 415 samples were tested within 24 hour totalling 5045 samples are tested for Covid-19 in the state and 35081 persons are under home observation/surveillance and 23132 persons have completed surveillance.
Till today under hospital isolation 3233 persons have been admitted and presently there are 525 admitted patients.
With 1384 new cases within 24 hours , a total of 15,712 confirmed cases of COVID-19 is reported in the country. As many as 2231 persons i.e. is 14.19% of total cases have been cured/discharged after recovery. Within 24 hour 19 more death totalling to 507 death is recorded in the country.
The highest cases is recorded in Maharashtra as 3651 confirmed and 328 new cases with 211 (10 more) deaths and release of 365 after recovery. The next is Delhi with 1893 confirmed cases and 42 death and 72 recovery followed by Madhya Pradesh with 1407 confirmed case and 70 death with 127 discharged.
2144 dedicated COVID-19 hospitals have been identified at both Centre and State level which includes 755 dedicated COVID hospitals and 1389 Dedicated COVID Health Centres (DCHC).
