
2 more Covid-19 in West Bengal total rises to 71 cases

Official release states that 1657 number of samples are tested for Covid-19 in the state and 49010 persons are under home observation/surveillance and 6086 persons have completed surveillance.
1598 persons have been admitted under hospital isolation and 1229 persons have been discharged from hospital isolation after copleting quarantine and testing negative.
From the Health bulletin of GTA it is clear that at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital, 2 people of Darjeeling district are admitted for Covid 19 and that includes a nurse of NBMCH who attended the two deceased patients and the other is the son of the deceased railway staff who died of Covid 19 at NBMCH.
19 more persons of Darjeeling district have completed quarantine period. They were in self quarantine and there are still 312 persons. Yesterday 331 persons were in self quarantine and day before yesterday there were 392 persons in self quarantine.
There are 46 persons of Kalimpong in quarantine centres at Disha Centre and Marwari Bhawan of Kalimpong.
As per today's report, 18 persons of Kalimpong district have completed quarantine period and and there are still 225 persons in self quarantine. Yesterday there were 243 persons in self quarantine. Beside them 6 persons are in isolation centre at Dr. Chang's Super specialty Hospital at Siliguri.
