Three examinees caught with phones... More cases of RA for mobile phones

“They have been barred from taking any further examination and their mobile phones, along with the answer scripts, will be sent to the Board. A case of reported against (RA) has been filed against the students and the disciplinary committee will henceforth look into it,” said a board official.
Earlier on Thursday, immediately after the examination started, a set of question papers started doing the rounds of WhatsApp. However, after 3 pm, the question paper was found to be fake.
State education minister Partha Chatterjee said: “The strongest possible action will be taken against students, who will break rules. This will not limit to disallowing them for the particular paper.” Chatterjee said, “The complaints are mainly from Malda and nearly all are related to external candidates.”
The minister told reporters, “I assure all parents not to heed the rumours on social media. These are fake information. The government is keeping a tab on fake social media information.”
The Madhyamik Parshad had on Wednesday spelt out the punishments for each violation raging from RA to initiating legal action through the police.
