Two nabbed with arms and ammunition

Amitava Banerjee | MP | 19 July 2019 | Darjeeling: Based on specific inputs from the intelligence branch of the SSB an operation was carried out jointly by the "F" and "B" Companies of the 41 battalion of the SSB in which two persons were apprehended with arms and live ammunition.

The SSB apprehended one Mohammad Jamshed of Madanvita, Borobila, Chopra, Uttar Dinajpur and Danayal Lakra of Assmbari, Chopra, Uttar Dinajpur from near Bihar More in Bagdogra.

A 9 mm pistol along with one magazine and two live 9 mm rounds were seized from them. They were later handed over to police. The police are interrogating the duo.
