Mamata Banerjee gives Bengal doctors four hours to end agitation Chief minister threatens action if order is not followed

Mamata, who had yesterday deployed her
nephew, MP Abhishek Banerjee, to make the first public statement from
Trinamul on the strike, reached a state-run SSKM Hospital to take stock
of the situation on the second day of the doctors' agitation.
The
agitation started on Tuesday after two junior doctors of NRS Medical
College and Hospital were assaulted allegedly by 200 men. The trigger of
the attack was the death of a septuagenarian patient.
When Mamata visited the hospital, agitating junior doctors shouted: "We want justice."
