Gurung bail plea
TT, 25 June 2019, JALPAIGURI: A circuit bench of Calcutta High Court here on Monday asked Gorkha Janmukti Morcha leaders Bimal Gurung and Roshan Giri to file an affidavit mentioning why they were seeking anticipatory bail.
The division bench of Justice Harish Tandon and Justice Hiranmay Bhattacharyya asked the Bengal government also to file an affidavit saying why it was opposing the duo's pleas for anticipatory bail. The court heard the case for two hours.
