Jaldapara safari ticket online

Till now, tourists who want to go on a car safari or elephant safari in Jaldapara had to stand in queues at the booking counters to buy entry tickets.
"Some had to leave because after standing for as long as seven to eight hours, they would come to know that all tickets have been sold. There had been instances when there were altercations among the forest staff and tourists," said a tour operator based in Alipurduar. Also, there were allega- tions that a section of touts illegally collect the safari tickets and would then sell those at higher price.
"To resolve the problems of manual booking and to ensure that tourists need not spent time in buying tickets, we will shortly introduce online bookings of all these safaris. There will be misunderstandings then," said Kumar Vimal, the divisional forest officer of Jaldapara Wildlife Division.
