Nepalese held with explosives
TT, 24 March 2019, Siliguri: A resident of Nepal, who was trying to cross the border and enter the neighbouring country, was arrested with cache of explosives near here on Saturday, SSB sources said.
The youth has been identified as Chiron Roka, a resident of Ruma village in Nepal's Myagdi district. "We have found 205 packets of a class II explosive, each of which weighs 125gms. He was also carrying 355 electrical detonators," said a source in the SSB. Also, two cell phones and four SIM cards was recovered from him.
Roka, the sources said, had collected the items from the Northeast.
