Two held with arms,
TT, 29 January 2019, Cooch Behar: Two men were arrested with three firearms from a motel at Ghughumari near here on Tuesday late evening.
Haridas Burmana and Rahul Mian, residents of Sitalkuchi, had assembled at the eatery with some others and were planning a crime, said Abhishek Gupta, the superintendent of police, Cooch Behar.
Two improvised pistols and a double-barrelled gun, along with two rounds of live ammunition, have been seized by Kotwali police.
In another incident, 150 bottles of cough syrup were seized from a vehicle on Sankosh Road bridge near Baxirhat.
