BJP will defeat Mamata, Abhisekh

SNS, ALIPURDUAR, 5 NOVEMBER: State president of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Dilip Ghosh, today said the saffron party would defeat Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her nephew Abhisekh Banerjee in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Mr Ghosh was in Jateswar here this morning for the inauguration of five Kali Pujas, while he also attended a public meeting at the Khagenhat Nathuni Sing High School in Falakata where more than 1000 people from the CPI-M and Congress joined the BJP, it is learnt.
"We will not let Mamata Banerjee and her nephew approach Delhi. We will be defeating the duo in any MP seats they will be contesting," said Mr Ghosh.
"We are growing each day in the state. We had gained power in 7000 panchayat seats in the last rural polls despite the threats and murders of our party men by the Trinarnul Congress," he added.
Mr Ghosh meanwhile came down heavily on the state police and said, "West Bengal police will prepare and chew 'Khaini' in the shade under trees during the upcoming parliamentary elections for they will be conducted in the presence of the Central Forces."
The ruling party,Trinamul Congress, meanwhile gave no importance to the meeting organised by the BJP.
"Dilip Ghosh always talks in a manner that shows that he has received no education and knowledge regarding our culture. I would not like to comment on his speech," said the district president of the Alipurduar Trinamul Congress, Mohan Sharma.
