Two arrested in double murder case in Siliguri .... Murder cuffs on 2

MP | 25 July 2018 | Siliguri: The mystery of double murder case in Siliguri finally ends. The accused was produced in the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in Siliguri on July 24. 

Bhoomika Sewa and Sanjay Tamang have been arrested for murdering 40-year-old Ajay, along with his 37-year-old-wife Meena on July 21. 

"The murder was committed due to some personal grudges arising out of monetary transactions," stated Tarun Halder, DCP (zone 2), SMP. 

Police recovered a hefty amount of cash from Tamang, who is involved in an alleged affair with Bhoomika, who was residing on the third floor of the building since three days before the incident took place. 

Police had interrogated Bhoomika on the very first day of their investigation because she was present in the building during the crime. 

Bhoomika is suspected to have unlatched the door of the main entrance and assisted him to enter. 

Tamang earned a living by driving dumpers and was a bouncer at a bar on Sevoke Road.
The bodies were found in two different rooms. 

Personal grudges were against Ajay, the owner of the man power agency, but his wife was also brutally killed. 

Police found Meena dead in her room because the accused had an eye on the heavy amount of money kept in her room. 

The accused were frustrated regarding the fact that they were not given a chance to work like the other workers of the team, which gradually decreased their income than others.

According to the post-mortem reports, the murder took place at around 12 am. There were bore marks on Ajay's face, while his wife's face was totally disfigured with a blunt weapon. 

Though the murder weapon has not been recovered yet, police suspect that there are more heads involved in the murder plan.

TT, Bagdogra : Police have claimed they cracked the couple murder case by arresting their female employee and her boyfriend.

The investigators said Ajay Khuswaha and his wife Meena had been murdered at their house in Sukantanagar here on Sunday early morning for cash and out of personal grudge.

The police said Sanjay Tamang, a bouncer, had killed the couple and he had been let into the house by his girlfriend, Bhumika Sewa.
