Bengal Govt introduces e-pension system for teachers, non-teaching staff
Higher Education Minister Partha Chatterjee has recently inaugurated the e-pension website at Bikash Bhawan.
The portal will serve around 17,000 regular employees of the colleges.
The objectives of launching the portal are to provide an early alert to start the pension process by preparing employees' profiles from the beginning of their services, receive an alert for profile-related changes, track pension status and maintain the pension processing time.
The portal will also help the teachers and non-teaching staff to prepare e-service books in the future and enhance employee-level transparency.
