All Gorkhas demand :No other settlement other than Gorkhaland

KalimNews, Kalimpong, 27 June 2017: Gorkhas of UAE are also in unison with the rest of the Gorkhas living in different parts of the world. 

Reports of demonstrations from different parts of UAE is received. Gorkhas condemned the dictatorial attitude of the West Bengal towards Gorkhas and the atrocities towards common people. 

They also have supported and appreciated the scrapping of GTA and burning the tripartite agreement copies. They have demanded the leaders not to settle for anything less than Gorkhaland and this should be the final battle for our Gorkhaland and we should emerge victoriously. 

Sachin Chhetri on their behalf have stated that this time the agitation for Gorkhaland is people’s movement and not of any particular political party or organisation. So all of us should contribute to make our dream come true, a dream long cherished!
Reports of similar demonstration is also received from Nepal. Nepal Communist Party and citizens and Ex students of Darjeeling schools demonstrated and participated in rallies in different parts of the Himalayan country and capital.
In New Delhi continuous demonstration and all party indefinite dharana is being organised by Gorkhas of NCR in Jantar Mantar. They form constituted an all party committee by the name Gorkhaland Sanyukata Sangharsha Samity. They have unanimously resolved to not let the movement be led by a party and a leader, AAGSU of Assam also have joined in the demonstration. This committee has accommodated Gorkhas who are different fields and professions including sportsmen and artists. It also has invited Gorkhas and Non Gorkhas of other states to join the movement for pressurizing the central and government of West Bengal.
