3 months to prepare for Jadhav case

TT, New Delhi, June 16: The International Court of Justice has given India three months to prepare its arguments to demand the quashing of the death sentence issued by a Pakistan military court against former Indian navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav.
The court ordered India to submit its arguments by September 13, and gave Pakistan till December 13 to respond. "It is then that the ICJ will decide on the next date for a hearing," foreign ministry spokesperson Gopal Baglay said.
Officials said India had sought at least four months.
