Siliguri: North Bengal Agro Business Synergy inaugurated by four state ministers
Prashant Acharya, EOI, 18 May 2017, SILIGURI: Trinamool Congress party observer and state minister in-charge of North Bengal Aroop Biswas today said, "It's not a big matter that we gained power in hills but chief minister Mamta Banerjee's dream is to restore peace and bring democracy in hills."
Biswas during an inauguration of 'Agro Business Synergy – Focus North Bengal' at Siliguri said that Rs 1361 crores investment proposal has came for agro based industries in eight districts of North Bengal. The proposal has reached through District Magistrate and District Industrial centers and the letter of interest has also been submitted for which the final decision will be taken on Friday.
Tourism minister Gautam Deb informed that project of bio Technology Park is under pipeline which will soon be initiated.
North Bengal Development Bachchu Hansda, Tribal minister, James Kujur along with higher official of government of West Bengal and well-known businessmen were present in the inaugural session of Agro Business Synergy organized by West Bengal government in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).
