Madhyamik results to be out in last week of May
MP, 5 May 2017 | Kolkata: The result of Madhyamik or Class 10 board examination in West Bengal is expected to be released in the last week of May.
Earlier, a rumour was going around in the state saying that the results of Class 10 would be out on May 10 while the Uchha Madhyamik or Class 12 board examination is slated to release on May 16.
However, the rumours have been rubbished by senior Board officials. According to an official of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE), the result will be announced between May 24 and 30. The WBBSE will soon announce the date of Madhyamik result.
The results will be uploaded on the WBBSE website. The Madhymik examination began on 22 February this year, with nearly six lakh girls examinees, 23 per cent more than the number of boys at 4,80,000. The trend was similar in Class 12 where 3,79,698 girls appeared for the board examination while the number of boys stood at 3,64,809.
