ED to quiz Samuel for 2nd day today
MP | 24 May 2017 | Kolkata : The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will be interrogating Narada News CEO Mathew Samuel for the second consecutive day on Thursday in its Kochi office in connection with the sting operation in which some political leaders were featured.
Two officers from the Kolkata office of the ED had interrogated Samuel in its Kochi office on Wednesday in this connection and was reportedly questioned from 10 am to 7 pm. He has been summoned again on Thursday to continue with the interrogation.
Sources in the ED said that the investigating officers have recorded his statement in relation to the sting operation. He was asked about the source of money to fund the operation.
It is learnt that the ED officials are yet to receive answers to some of the questions and the investigating officers would also go through some more documents.
