
Hill lodge procession
TT, Darjeeling, April 4: Hundreds of Darjeeling residents today took part in a march organised by the Gorkha Janmukti Yuva Morcha to protest against the construction of a tourist lodge at Tiger Hill by the state government.
The procession that started from Chowrasta went up to the Darjeeling district magistrate's office through the town.
The protesters submitted memorandum to the forest and district officials and vowed to carry on the agitation till the construction stopped.
