Farewell and Felicitation Ceremony held in Pedong BPHC
KalimNews, Kalimpong, 22 April 2017: Two nurses of Pedong BPHC retired from their active services and were felicitated during a farewell program. Retired ANM nurses Chandra Gurung and Mithoo Sudha Blon were felicitated for their sincere service during a programme held on April 22, 2017.
The farewell ceremony started with the group bhajan and followed by prayer and songs by Pabi and Isa Rani Lepcha. Anand Rai gave the welcome speech while Dr Purkait sung a melodious Bengali Song followed by Hindi songs. Sister Devi Maya and Akshata Baraily performed Nepali Dance which was appreciated by everyone present in the ceremony.
The Block Medical officer of Health Dr N J Pradhan wished both the sisters a happy and prosperous life ahead.
