Cannabis found in Thai boys' blood
SNS, KURSEONG, 11 MARCH: The medical officers have found cannabis in the blood sample of the two Thai boys, who were found ill in their hotel rooms during their stay in Kurseong on 1 March.
According to the sources, cause of the death of another Thai boy, Koetsirikunwong (15), is yet to be ascertained as the officials concerned have not yet received the post-mortem report.
However. as per the present medical reports, the officers have found cannabis in the blood sample of two other Thai boys.
According to the sources, lot of packed junk food was kept in their rooms which the families had brought with them. There were also many cigarette butts strewn in their rooms.
The family with their four children from Bangkok, Thailand had visited Kurseong on 7 March to admit their children in a popular English school in the town.
However, on 8 March morning, Koetsirikunwong was found dead in his hotel bathroom. Later, the other two boys were found ill. They are under treatment in a private nursing home in Siliguri.
